The Colors of Puffco: A Guide To Collecting Rare Puffco Peaks

The foundation (2013–2018)
Puffco was founded in 2013 with the goal of making dabbing cleaner and easier for the average user. The brand didn’t really become collector-driven until the original Peak launched in 2018 its first “smart” electronic dab rig, sold in a handful of core colors alongside occasional special finishes.

Peak V1 limited editions (2018–2020)
Over the years the original Peak line saw limited editions like Opal, Guardian, and Indiglow. These set the template for what became Puffco’s signature move: taking the same internal hardware and wrapping it in a wildly different aesthetic, then never restocking it once it sold out.

• Indiglow in particular became one of the most sought-after: it was treated by Puffco itself as a collector’s item rather than a standard unit, and the finish was a trippy purple-and-blue gradient across a translucent silicone base with a hand-blown glass attachment featuring crushed opal texture.

Peak Pro (V2) and the colorway machine kicks in (2020–2023)
The Peak Pro V2 originally launched in three mainstay colors — Onyx, Pearl, and Desert — with Desert essentially “graduating” from a well-received Proxy colorway up to the flagship Peak Pro. From there, limited runs came fast:

• Flourish (early 2023) launched alongside Puffco’s first direct-to-consumer glass marketplace, using a shaded green “Smokey Green Satin” glass meant to celebrate the plant itself, and paired with artist-customized pieces. It’s since been discontinued, which is exactly the pattern that drives resale value.
• Guardian, Opal, Bloom, Storm each a similar “reskin” release rotating through the Peak Pro and Proxy lines, per Puffco’s ongoing cadence of limited edition drops across its device lineup.

The “New Peak” reset (2024)
The New Peak launched at $220 MSRP with three mainstay colorways Sky, Cloud, and Onyx a more restrained, evergreen palette compared to the wilder limited runs, positioning it as the accessible entry point while limited editions stayed premium-priced collector bait.

Recent limited drops (2025–2026)

• Indiglow got a Peak Pro refresh with a smooth purple-and-blue gradient over the silicone base and metal band, extending into sacred-geometry-inspired glass.
• Daybreak became a sunburst gradient with fluted hand-blown glass, crushed opals, and a gold 3DXL chamber and, true to form, it’s now officially sold out.
• Plasma (mid-2026) marked a shift toward gaming-culture crossover: an electric purple, indigo, and orange finish inspired by gaming, extended across matching accessories, merchandise, and even mechanical-keyboard keycaps. Puffco was explicit that this isn’t new hardware — it’s a collectible reskin of the existing Peak Pro built around a themed capsule collection, complete with a $50 matching Hot Knife and $100 standalone chamber.
